Fee Structure for January 2024 onward
YOUTH CLASSES
1/ week $70.00 +HST
Ages 7-14
ADULT CLASSES
1/ week $90.00 +HST
Ages 15+
- Monthly fees payable on or before the 1st of each month.
- 12 Months post-dated cheques or 3 months e-transfer or 3 months cash
- e-transfer to: adminshukokai@shaw.ca
- One Calendar months notice if not continuing training (Cheques will be returned or shredded) (no refund for e-transfer or cash payments)
Drop in Fee: $20.00 for Youth & Adults, maximum 2 drop in classes/month

Instructors
Instructor: Sensei Raj Seth
Sensei Raj is the Chief Instructor for Canada East. He has been training for 39 years and currently holds the rank of 5th Dan. Sensei moved from England where he started training in 1979 at the age of 14. Sensei Raj was a member of the Bolton Shukokai Club. He was a member of the National Squad and has represented Great Britain in many tournaments including Japan, U.S.A and all over Europe. He moved to Canada in 1997.
Instructor: Sensei Eric Calvert
Sensei Eric Calvert currently holds the rank of 4th Dan. He has competed in multiple International Kimura Shukokai tournaments along with training at multiple World Chief Instructors Courses. Sensei Eric is so excited to be back in the dojo teaching at the new Welland Dojo and to be able to share his love of karate with his students.

Instructor: Sensei David Bentley
Sensei Bentley is the Chief Instructor for Shukokai in Western Canada. He currently holds Shichidan (7th Dan Black Belt) and has been training with the Shukokai style for 38 years and an instructor for 36 years. He has competed at international level for both England and Canada.
Sensei Bentley started his martial arts training in Judo in the late 1960’s, for four years under the guidance of a British Olympic Team Member.
Sensei Bentley is a certified National Coaching Certification Program (NCCP) coach and instructor, a certified fit4defense instructor as well as First Aid certified and has had many successful clubs in England, Ontario and British Columbia.
His most recent achievements include Sports Psychology Certification 2006, Karate BC Coach of the Year 2007, a silver medal for Canada in kumite (sparring) at the KSI World Championships in 2008, a bronze in kumite at the KSI World Championships in 2010, and a silver medal in kumite at the KSI World Championships in 2016.
